The Printing Office is always striving to improve processes from up to date quoting systems to latest environmentally
friendly technology.

Being a good corporate citizen is something that runs deep within us all. Our belief and commitment in saving our environment is second to none.

The Printing Office currently has an established and functioning “Environmental Team” monitoring all processes and operations throughout the company.

Their main task is to seek alternatives to reduce the effects of our business on the environment.
Further to our commitment to sustainability programs our Environmental Team has organised energy audits to assess our power consumption from lights to machinery. One result of the team’s efforts was to implement fluro-tube replacement with the new T5 fluros in production areas, which use 35% less power while providing the same lighting requirements.

The Printing Office excels in reducing its yearly water usage due to three 27,000 litre water tanks being installed which provide water for all our amenities and equipment throughout the building.

Waste management and recycling is practiced extensively throughout The Printing Office with the majority of paper and cardboard waste being recycled. We have reduced our landfill from two Industrial bins to one kerbside council bin per week.

Even plastics and toner cartridges are under the recycling management program, at the end of the day we strive to reduce any waste going to landfill.

We are working closely with our supplier’s and Government Departments to become the greenest printery we can.

There has been much talk from printers claiming their commitment but few can back that with the certification and accreditation.
TPO is certified with many environmental programs, the main being:

  • FSC - Forest Stewardship Council Cert. No. SGS-COC-005721

  • PEFC - Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Cert. No. SGS-PEFC/COC-0723

  • ISO 14001 :2004  Environmental management systems

  • ISO 9001: 2008 Quality management systems
